Drop Off Service

Recycle IT operate a drop-off centre to help you recycle waste electrical, electronic equipment (WEEE) and all pure metal items. This service reduces the need for landfill or incineration and supports reuse.

The facility, located in Clondalkin is the first of its kind operated by a not for profit social enterprise and serves South Dublin and the surrounding areas.




Old, damaged or unused electrical appliances and pure metal items can be dropped off with our recycling team. Visitors will get assistance on arrival and a receipt recording your visit to the facility.
Items accepted for drop-off include;


  • E-waste (computers, laptops, telephones, cable, x-Boxes, PlayStation, Wii, MP3s, etc.
  • Large and small house appliances - click here for a full list
  • Batteries of all types including (AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D, 6, & 9-volt, car, UPS).
  • Light bulbs (incandescent and fluorescent).
  • Pure metal items like, gates, radiators lockers, office cabinets, taps, metal sinks and lots more.

    All dual-purpose household and small office equipment can be dropped off at no cost Monday to Friday.

    Larger commercial equipment, both electrical and metal may incur a recycling fee.
